Motoren Israel Sport Camshaft

I noticed that Motoren Israel has sport camshafts available for the R45/R65 in both 320 and 340 durations. Does anybody have any experience with these bits? Even better, does anybody have a used one for sale?

I know, I know - if you want a fast airhead, get bigger jugs. I normally wouldn't consider upgrade parts for the R65, but now that my spare engine needs a rebuild I keep hearing the words of an old race engine builder I once knew - "If you're gonna be a dog, why be a chihuahua?" PS: I tried searching for "camshaft" in the archives and the searchengine is still thinking - perhaps something is broken, or perhaps I'm too impatient.

Don't remember seeing anything on sports cams on the R65 only that the 336 wasn't ever made for the type 248 airheads.

Your first problem will be to understand what is the difference between the stock 308 and a 320 or 340 as BMW used 80 thou lift for their cam timings which is likely different to the after market cams.  If you've ever tried to make sense of 308 vs the published 80 thou valve timings you can't because 308 is the real valve duration.

Other than the widely available valve timings the only other information I have on the stock 308 is that max lift is 6.756 mm
