Spark Plugs

I search for thread about spark plugs & came up with nothing. Searched with a few diff options. I know I read a thread with info of what others are using & what not to use.
I just noticed that the plugs the BMW guys sold me are resisitor type:

Bosch WR 5 DC

Doesn't this increase the resistance in the ignition?
All  I could find last night was Denso nonresistor plugs.
Installed the Denso (Formerly known as NipponDenso)
And the idle jumped up 200 - 300 RPM & acceleration from stop seemed much smoother. I set idle back to 1050 RPM & the note is quite different than before.
I have not balance the carbs yet & I noticed that one side is running richer than the other. Its just barely black not brown. So I guess I need to sync em up asap.

Also when I looked @ Bosch listings for OEM plugs for 1981 R65 the heat range there is listed as one step higher than in the Clymers manual.

Can someone point me to the spark plug thread? Or did I read it somewhere else?

I use NGK BP7ES, as recommended by their website.  It is NOT a resistor type.  But I use resistor-type caps.  link

I buy my spark plugs at the local multi-Japanese franchise, and I buy my caps and wires from Mikes. (cheap!)

I use the Bosch WR5 DC plugs on both my beemers and have never had any problems with them.

I do pop them out for a clean and a gap check when I do the tappets. (About every 1000 miles) Pulling the plugs is a good idea anyway as it makes it easy to crank the engine over to TDC with an hex key in the alternator bolt head.
