82 R65 Swingarm locknut

Can somebody tell me the size of the locknut for the swingarm ?

I just started looking into my wobble issue and the swingarm is loose as "expletive deleted"..

It moves back and forth 1/4" maybe more... Thanks BMWOKC..
They worked on it last.. Put a clutch in it just before I bought it...

It's a 27 mm, you may need to grind down the socket to get it to fit in the swingarm, it's a tight fit .

Thanks Rob.. I'll pick one up in my activities this weekend..

I can't believe how much that sucker is moving.... There's no way it could have come out of that shop right....

Guess that's one of the many reasons BMW of OKC closed...

With that much movement going on.. I'm guessing it's been maybe 500 miles since it was worked on.. Maybe.. When I get it apart I guess I can see if the rear transmission seal needs to be replaced.. Guess I'll go ahead and order the bearings and races....

Jeez... :(

Check the condition of the large Pivot Pins, too, John.
