I've mentioned a few times, about cutting material off the plastic body of the second generation R65 flat air filter .

Finally got around to getting a picture of it .

Don't know if it makes a difference in sealing the filter on the airbox casting or not, but the filter does go down more after the plastic is cut away .

The clips are a lot easier to get on and off as well .
