looking for handlebar dimensions
« on: April 08, 2012, 09:29:46 PM »
Need to change some cables, don't know if my bike has the US or EURO handlebars, and cant find the measurements/specs anywhere to measure and verify.  Anyone have that info they could share?

Thanks.

If your bars are not VERY narrow and VERY flat they will be US bars. On the Euro bars there is no room to atach anything else to the bars, not even a small clock.

The bars in the below image have bar end weights so they appear to be wider than the standard euro bars.

The Rise on Euro Bars is no more than 2".  US bars had more like 4" or 5" rise.

Recent thread with more pictures of Euro bars.
