Got Ruby fired up this weekend - Saturday morning.
She was her usual fickle self.
Had to pull the carbs, replace the float bowl gaskets and check/blow through the chokes. And the battery needed a jolt to get the life back into it. Trickle charger not up to it. Normal car charger seemed to do the trick.
Still a reluctant starter, with only one petrol can in the tank, I do not think there was enough 'head' of gas to keep the carbs supplied. She did eventually cough into life on reserve though.
Its been a long lay off - last ridden in June of last year. No woman like to be ignored - she was just punishing me : )
Got to get her ready for an MOT now.
