
Rear sets almost always have the wrong pedal ratio for the rear brake, and horrible rod geometry. I cut the original pedal down and welded on a tag to make it an idler when
I made these. I did some math, but I forgot it. I think it might have been a 4:1 pedal and 1.6:1 in the idler which gave something like the stock pedal ratio.
Link rods are just 6mm stainless tapped M6 X 1.0mm with Heim joints screwed on the end. The joits were about £3 ($5) a piece, and I don't see why you couldn't use 1/4" rod and 1/4" Heims...
Look at a Honda CBR 600 I think they're laid out the same way and would work with very little hassle. Not bolt right on, but quite often bolt on stuff doesn't bolt right on...
Plus, with the CBR stuff you get folding pegs.
