Chris, I was wondering the same thing, about price.  I keep thinking of the old addage, "If it looks too good to be true..."

Finally, somebody who's workbench looks almost as bad as mine!  I may be missing what the point is here, though...

With a stock bulb that's beginning to operate sporadically in low-beam mode, as pointed out to me recently by a friendly Highway Patrolman  8-), I picked up one of these PIAA Star Whites tonight.
It was 37 bucks & change at the Autozone, and hopefully I can get it installed in time for "Willville" this coming weekend.
Thanks again for the tip, Mumford. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

That was the price for 1, the 2-pack was around $62-63, I believe. Less than double, anyway. Mumford's link to PIAA shows $60.45 for 2, but then there's s&h, and waiting, etc. I decide for a couple bucks difference to just buy locally, cash 'n' carry.

Well, a sick kid kept me from going to Willville, but I did manage to get the new PIAA Star White put in this afternoon, and whoa! Let there be light!!  8-)
Strictly a plug in & ride deal too, which would have taken maybe 10 minutes except for that spring-clip hootus that Clymer didn't bother to tell me about, that holds the lens to the reflector. Once I found that after it shot out into the grass, and figured out which way was up, it was a quick button-up and go.

Thanks again for the tip, Mumford: highly recommended! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Point is that cheap HongKong xenon lights bought through ebay USA delivered in the Netherlands do work (and still do)
