Just outfitted the 81 R65 with a pair of S-11's.  I have around 1k miles on them and am very happy with them, 100/90-18 front and 110/90-18 rear.  No fitment problems at all.

And a great bang for the buck I might add.

Bridgestone Spitfire S-11s on the 1981's front and rear. Very nice tires that seem to be unaffected by pavement rain grooves. I run them at 34psi front and 39psi rear. Disregard the air pressure suggestions in the OEM manuals, etc. New, modern tires perform much better at higher pressures. You'll not wear them out as fast, either.

Oh... they fit just fine. Skip the 120 size for sure.

Still have perfect Dunlops on the '83 R65.
