What thread is it

Further to my brothers red exhaust we discover that one of the butterfly bolts has stripped rather than replace the shaft ive suggested a short counter sunk screw with a locking nut on the back im guessing the thread is 2.5 to 3 mm anyone know for sure.

Worse case scenario, the throttle shafts aren't expensive, I got one about three years ago, they were around $10US at the time .
