Spark Plugs
« on: March 06, 2010, 07:17:07 PM »
Sorry, I may be starting a thread that has certainly been hashed over repeatedly, but I have done a search in this forum and haven't found exactly what I'm looking for.
My questions is...on a 1981 R65 the standard stock plug states a W6D. I was wondering if there is a compatable Iridium Plug out there. I know there is a lot to do with resistor vs non-resistor plugs arguements. Most Iridium plugs that I can find are resistor types. I'm not sure if you can run a resistor plug with non-resistor plug wires...but it would make sense not to. I have looked at SnowBums site, read numerous arguements for/against the use of....but thought I would ask the folks that have the same bike as I. Or maybe there is someone out there that can put it in "Spark Plugs For Idiots" form.
Thanks...

Just a tip on the sear Razz, be sure to go back at least 3 months and possibly one year.  The default search time is only one week. ;)
