Hi,  anyone know if the full cover gater boot will fit the R65 fork, and if so the 11 or 13 rib type...thanks [smiley=bmw_smiley.gif]

I believe it's the 11 rib boot, don't have the bike here at work today, so I can't be 100% positive about it .

I can give you part numbers for the boots, and the clamps, after I get home at 2330 today .

Yes!  I've got the 14 or 15 rib boot on mine and I would go with something with less ribs had I known.  It works but doesn't look right.

Mine are 11-rib. Purchased them recently from Bob's parts department. (Yeah, I know I could have shopped around, but instant gratification has its pleasures.) They fit. When first installed, I thought they looked weird & might the wrong size. But over time, the conformation of the ridges adjusts, and now they look fine.

I have a pair that I just received from Motobins and they are 11-rib.

Here's the part numbers from my receipt, 11 rib boot : 31 42 1 234 908, 2 required, clamps for the boot : 07 12 9 952 121, 4 required, unless you have some other means of securing them .

'81 R65
