I didn't want to gunk up ringo's message thread with something a little off of his topic, but I hit on a topic that I had thought about asking before.

Is there much selection of tubed tires out there?  Does anyone run tubed tires anymore?  The tubed tires have to be easier to install, and take off in an emergency.  I don't demand much performance from my tires, so I'm not too worried about high-speed cornering abilities.

Yeah, I remember back in the "old days" they did seem to be more flexible and easier to mount/de-mount.  I don't know if anybody makes just tube type tires anymore, maybe places that specialize in period correct reproduction tires?  The automotove world has Coker Tire.
