After many years of protecting the original dust cover on the trip odometer, mine fell off somewhere during the trip to TN. Moan! But not worth being too upset at my age!!
Didn't we decide that using a Brembo brake dust cap for the bleeder was a grand replacement idea. Part no. 34 21 1 236 794.
My velcroed old cap did well to stay on as long as it did. I must have bumped it somewhere with the tankbag or something. It's a lot easier to get those "0s" to line up on the trip odometer and I have found that it doesn't work unless I do have the 0s lined up straight! So to be able to remove the cap is impt.
Also, will any hooked wrench or "c wrench" work to adjust those Konis shocks with the knotches? Part number 71 11 1 237 858 $21.48 I saw this wrench on the A&S Cycles parts fiche with a listing of all the tools available.
