I took the little guy out for a ride the other day and my right toe started getting wet as I cranked the engine. Fuel was leaking out of the floatbowl which was you know awesome. The Bings on this bike('79 r65) were rebuilt by a BMW dealership recently. I put the bike up and started to go into a funk when it ocurred to me the last time I rebuilt the su carbs on my MG the float got stuck in one of them. I went back out and gently tapped the Bing lightly and turned on the fuel and no more leak woohoo. I have ridden it about ten miles on two different trips and no leaks. You guys think it was just kinked up because it is new or should I worry about a bad rebuild? My plan was to ride until it happened again but I am a little worried about washing the cylinder walls with gas if it happens again. I am new so sorry it this is elementary.
Thanks,
