Silencers?

Iv'e come across a pair of stanless steel silencers,however they are for a 85 onwards bmw,which i think is around 38mm bore(am i correct here?)as my LS is 35mm,i was wondering if you can buy any adaptors,or has anyone made any?

you can get them the silencers i bought came with sleeve adaptors for 35 mill with them in or 38 without if you cannot find any just wrap some shim steel around the tail of the pipe and clamp down on that

ill check my box of bits as i replaced one of the sleeves with about 3inch of stainless steel tube to cover a hole if you have an old numatic vacuum the down pipe fits perfectly 35mm id 38mm od just fit it with abit of exaust sealant and its stainless steel

Beemer, post a pic of what you wind up with.  I have some monoshock mufflers/silencers up in the attic and I had not even thought of putting them on the LS but it really needs 'em...

Beemer, post a pic of what you wind up with.  I have some monoshock mufflers/silencers up in the attic and I had not even thought of putting them on the LS but it really needs 'em...
