Generic AGM Batteries
« on: May 04, 2009, 04:57:10 PM »
With Gruber Power Services discontinuing motorcycle batteries, the co-worker that runs a BMW bike repair shop out of his garage, has found another source for AGM batteries.

They are located in Keller, Texas, about 30 miles or so north of Ft. Worth,TX.

I bought the UB22-12N through ebatteries about 3 years ago - the new one on the website looks to be slightly different from mine, but mine is still working well and JUST fit into the battery box without any changes.   Not sure if the new one is exactly the same dimensions or not, though the part number is the same.   The Westco battery is a known good choice, but the one I got seems to be going strong and cost less.  I am not 100% certain that the UB22-12N is the exact dimensions now as when I bought it, though the website claims it will work.
