Contacted Gruber this afternoon and it appears based on my measurements that the Gruber YTX20L-BS will not fit without modification.  The demensions provided by the very helpfull staff are
7 X 3.4 X 6.1.  3.4 is too wide.  So, she goes on to explain that their batteries come from PowerSonic.  A visit to tnrbatteries.com lists a Powersonic model Number PS-12180-NB that is only 3.0 wide? for $60.00. Does anybody have any experience with these batteries?

Local batteries Plus store lists a battery for the R65LS but is also too wide at 3.25
