Heading out in the morning for the BMWNEF Winter Rally. They like to try and get the first rally in while the rest of the country is still snowed in. It is held on a National Guard training base in NE FL and is always a great time. Limited to 500 people and they sell out every year. Great campground next to a lake but tent placement can be critical if the wind is blowing across the lake. Nice conference center with exhibitors, seminars and dinner on Fri-Sat night (Sat is steak night). Breakfast is available in the military dining hall and the package store and Exchange are open.
Temps are forecast to be low of 36*F (2*C) at night and 60*F (15*C) days. There is always a bonfire going through the night and the Airheads have an endless pot of coffee going.
This year they are having a drawing for a new G 310 GS. Each person registered gets a ticket and Sat night they pick the winner. 1 in 500 odds don't sound too bad.
