Lolo Pass, Id
« on: November 23, 2012, 02:12:47 PM »
This years ride with my buddies started in CO.  We rode through UT to Hell's Canyon on the OR, ID border and then up through WA before heading east and, for me, eventually ending up in MD.  I just wanted to mention Lolo Pass between ID and MT.  Absolutely one of the most fun roads that I have been on.  On the ID side there is a sign that says "Twisty Road the Next 166 Miles".  Too much fun.  The scenery is great also.  I highly recommend taking this route if you are in the area.

I guess this route would be on the agenda if one were to head west to the MOA  National in Salem OR.
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".

Too bad I'm heading east to it.  I swear if I camp there I'm taking my bicycle, not my R65.
