Just to add another photo to the thread, I spent most of my time in the Vintage Display, as Melena noted:

Ummmm, where is the photo?  I'd love to see it.
You're too fast for me.  I hadn't actually uploaded my photos from the rally yet, so the photo above didn't show, but it's there now.

Hey, I resemble that.

I'm a native Angelino (from, like, the Valley, dude.)

Like from Encino?  Oh No!  The Encino Man.   :o   ;D

Yeah, I lived all over down there too.  My Dad was born and raised in Anaheim.  We lived in Encino for a few years.  My Dad was the State Park Ranger when they first made Los Encinos Park into a State Park somewhere in the early 50's.

Sorry, I'm from north of the boulevard.  Born in North Hollywood, raised in Van Nuys, lived in Sherman Oaks, Studio City and Northridge.  Lived there for 33 years.  I am a proud graduate of the LA Unified School District and Cal State Northridge.  :)

NICE write up!!!

It was such a kick meeting everyone.  I remember riding onto the grounds and going around looking for a place to camp.  I see the F650 group (but I'm not on the GS today...), i keep going around and I come down this one stretch and I see two airheads AND A FLAG!!!!!    Could it be?  I park the bike on the pavement next to the fence and decide to pitch the tent.  I think I hear someone calling my name.  nawww, can't be.   I don't know anyone here.  Yup, there's a couple standing next to the bike and she looking at me and calling my name.
Who is this woman, and how does she know my name?
;D ;D ;D ;D

I had such a great time.  I just wish I had come down on Wednesday.  Too many things to see and do and not enough time to do them all.

ohmygawd.  Like totally! Born and raised in SoCal.  La Palma, Walnut, Pasadena, Seal Beach, Whittier, Hacienda Heights, San Fernando.  Then I migrated north to California City.  Never thought I would leave Cali, but I'm glad I did.  makes it easier to bash SoCal.  ;)

Heh.  It hurts to type like that.   :D

So, you live on the "dry side", eh?  "Central WA" makes me think of Centrailia, not Yakima.  There's a lot of nice riding on the east side of the Cascades, and the Palouse is beautiful.

You guys like hurt my brain.   I think I lost IQ points just reading that - I actually understood it.  :o

Luckily I got out of the Valley before all that started.  I moved to N. Cal when I was 10.

1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".
