More VT road video
« on: May 09, 2010, 04:38:26 PM »
Only April, and it's warm enough to wear my hot-weather gear.
My wife says "You're so worried about global warming, and for fun you go burn more oil?"
She's right, as usual.  But so was the day, and I tried to make the best of it.
I found the audio comes through much better if you put it through a decent amp and speakers.
I'm still astonished at how clattery the engine is at idle.  Even through the foam patch over the mike,
the valves sound like they're gapped at .040 and .080 instead of .004 and .008
One of the steady shots was done with the camera on a table-top tripod perched on a guard rail post.
The other was from a grassy bank next to the road.

Enjoy the ride.

Sure is beautiful country...but HOLY CRAP - YOU'RE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD - GET OVER!!!  ;D

Seriously though, is it just me or is there a noise that just shouldn't be there?

Thanks for sharing.

"Dont you just love farmers leaving mud tracks on the road!!!"

That's my biggest complaint about all the scenic little farm roads:  the farmers!  I have to remind myself that the roads are there for them, not for me.
