Lake Chelan Sidecar Rally (some R65 content)
« on: May 22, 2010, 11:53:52 PM »
Friends of our are long time motorcycle enthusiasts but no longer ride.  In fact, Bill used to own the BMW dealership in Merced, CA back in the 70's and our SWB R75/5 was originally his bike (that he bought new).

There is a sidecar rally in Chelan every year and the last couple of years, our friends have hosted a spagetti dinner.  I think about 30 or so bikes showed up last night.  It was unseasonable chilly out.  But we all enjoyed a great meal and got to see some pretty cool bikes.

I think the first three or four pics was this past weeks 'Thursday night" burger and ride, so you can ignore those.  hehehe  And yes, I was having fun tossing a ball to Abby.

There IS an R65 hack somewhere in here:

Great pics, looks like a good turn out.

Thursday night burger and ride & spagetti dinner at the rally, food & bikes, great combo [smiley=thumbsup.gif].

Very nice Dee.  Thanks for the pics.

I've got a fondness for sidecar rigs.  I think I'd like one some day.

Headed out to a sidecar rally at Lake Berryessa yesterday, but by the time we got over the hills and into the Napa valley it had gotten really cold and cloudy and we could see rain up in the area where we would heading.  Never mind.  Don't need to do that on purpose.
