Back home from the latest jaunt to Willville, and happy to report that a good time was had by all.
Will hosted a moderately-sized but lively crew, with the distance winners being a possible tie between riders from New Hampshire and Wisconsin
It also seemed to be "couples week", as there were at least 5 husband/wife teams there, each on their own bikes, in addition to the "Wingnuts" group out of Greensboro, the females of which always seem to have had a bit too much wine and no built-in personal volume controls. At least they pass out early!
It always does my heart good to hear folks that've camped in dozens, maybe hundreds of spots over the years, absolutely rave about Willville and it's laid-back atmosphere, cleanliness, etc. I'm very fortunate to be only 80 miles away from one of the premier motorcycle camps on the entire East Coast, and some of the finest riding roads pretty much anywhere.

Check out the gasoline powered, kickstart-only Maytag, with belt driven wringer and custom sausage grinder attachment. Note the blacked-out exhaust and left-side tank shifter too. Back in the day, only a select few lucky housewives could afford one of these luxuries!
Of course, the John Deere grinding wheel and ancient ice cream maker were pretty cool too [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
