And we plan on being there this opening weekend!  OK, I'm a little slow this year, but be there or be square!

And I had planned to be there with you guys, but a week of rain and the need to complete my taxes (chronic procrastinator) may interfere with those plans. Maybe so, maybe not, trying my best, but let's see if things dry out a bit around here first.

Hope to see ya there, but if not, definitely soon?   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

ps: Is Will offering "season passes" this year?
I'm hoping to be there a lot this summer!

pps: Aida, does Will have any new "goodies" at the camp this year?
Why don't you help the man update his website a bit!  ;)

Yes, Will is offering season passes this year - we've already paid up.   I don't think he has any new "goodies" this year.  He has laid out where he wants to put another cabin, but it didn't get very far before the ground froze on him.

He has asked me to help update his website, but that's not something I have a great deal of knowledge about.  Although I have since figured some of it out and now have Dreamweaver.  I may try to take my computer up this weekend and see if we can get some updates done.  I know he needs it!  He's been asking me for awhile now.   :-[

I hope you dry out enough to head up.  Heck, you're close enough just to hop up for a couple of hours.  No excuses!  You'll still have 10 more days to get those taxes done - if you're going to procrastinate, do it this weekend on the taxes - Not the trip to Willville!  ;)  You're not going to let a little rain deter you!  Not us, we'll be there rain or shine! (But then, we have the cabin for this weekend  ;D )

Hmmm you may have a point about the taxes: I've just learned that my aging iMac  won't run this year's version of TurboTax, so I'm kinda screwed anyway.
Time for a new laptop? It's not really in the budget, but I may have to break down and go for it...

Wonder if Will'd let me pitch my tent under the shelter if it's a soggy mess up there?  :-?

Yep, lots of folks have 'camped' under the shelter when the weather was really bad.  No excuses now! ;D
We're headed out in the am - hope the rain has at least slowed to a drizzle by then... [smiley=sad.gif]

Okay, it's official.
After riding home from work thru our daily monsoon and hydroplaning nearly out of control several times, coupled with this weekend weather forecast

Tonight: Scattered thunderstorms early. Overcast overnight with occasional rain - a rumble of thunder is still possible. Low 54F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall near a half an inch.
Tomorrow: Showers and thundershowers in the morning will give way to a steadier rain in the afternoon - a rumble of thunder still possible. High 62F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph. Rainfall possibly over one inch.
Tomorrow night: Rain showers early with overcast skies late. Low 51F. Winds NE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%.  [smiley=drowning.gif]

...and that's down here in the city, the mountain temps are 8-10 degrees cooler.

So, I am hereby wussing out of the Wild & Wonderful Willville Weekend.
Aida and Graham, hope you guys have a great time, and we'll see you again soon, I'm sure.
But please, be careful out there!  [smiley=steinigung.gif]

So we left the bikes at home as we read the same weather report as NCSteve.  Looks like everyone else read the same report as Graham and I were the only ones there, but we were in the warm cabin.  Actually, it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated.  The rain never really set in - it was mostly just cloudy and slightly drizzly.  The 80% finally kicked in Sat. evening after we turned in.

So we spend Saturday looking at property and working on the Willville website http://www.willvillebikecamp.com/.  Not much change, but turn up the speakers and check out the Willville song!   ;D

Maybe in a couple of weeks the weather will be better.  He has 2 different groups coming in that weekend.  (ADV Riders is one - not sure what the other group is.)  I'm hoping to be there that weekend - probably Sat-Mon though.
