oil drain plug

hey guys! just wondering what size thread the oil drain plug is. i'm getting the oil temp sensor for the Vapor. I think i'll like the wiring better because i don;t like the wire coming off the sparkie. still haven't got that tach right yet...gotta talk with monte...

Yeah, I had to go back to the Vapor manual and confirm the correct "pulse" setting for our R65s.

Remembering that the Beemer ignition "wastes" a spark on each cylinder; the plug actually fires on the exhaust stroke on one side as the other cylinder is firing on the power stroke.

I programed the Vapor for a "2 PPS" rather than the default setting of "1 PPS" and everything seems to read correctly. Tricky, since the coil fires both plugs at the same time... hence the so-called "wasted" spark. Left at the default setting, the tach's electronic brain thinks you're riding a 2-stroke. Horrors!
