How to dismount an R65 over the handlebars, or how I learned to drive my motorcycle.
Last week I took the first two modules of an advanced motorcycle driving course, each module lasting a whole day. That was great fun and especially the right hand valve cover has sliding marks to show how much fun we had driving around tight corners with the cycle lying at the lowest possible angle (which by the way is far lower than I would have dared, had it not been for the very able instructors).

It went allright as long as the bike was going fast but as the sand slowed us down I lost control and left the bike doing a somersault over the handlebars taking the right rearview mirror with me. That and a slightly bruised ego was the only damage so after a cup of coffee for me and a wash for the bike, we entered the race again.
Next year I will take the next two modules and learn how to corner tight bends at high speed without ending up in the sand.
