ok starting on the thrid frame. this one i plan on getting back to the stripped cafe nibble roots. keeping this a shorter wheel base closer to stock but made changes to the stock frame to get rid of the frame twisting and bending when pushing it around. the neck will have some more tubular gussets along with some in the seat stays. plan on making a rear tail and making some mods to the tank. that tank is huge! it holds nearly 8 gallons!

I see you lowered the front of what was the sub frame, giving the front of the seat a much lower overall height. It is a more modern profile as it gives a more angular appearance that might clash with the organic form of the tank or for that matter yer knees may clash with yer teeth ::) Rearsets? As always I'm fascinated with your creative process. Yer a Piston Picasso.

finished the major frame mods, the shock mounts gussets are in and finished the tanks mounts. worked a little more on the tail section and started to do frame clean up

planning on the exhaust and that is going to cost a arm & leg cuz i would like to use stainless but my bender wont do a nice bend on that thin of tube so i am suck with  pre made bends and boy to they get enough for them.

Eight Gallon tank!  Where did you get it Jon?

I could really use a larger tank for my R65.  Would you like to trade?  Oh crap...nothing would fit underneath it.  You removed all the electrics.....   :-/

Love the spoked wheels.

finally got my front end.

i have to make some special mounts to run the clubman bars i have.

being that my feet seem to always be up by the swing arm pivot i am going to use the rear passenger pegs as rear sets and make up a new brake control arm and i found a cool shifter linkage that works great for rear sets i am going to try to make. but you will have to wait an see for now.

got the bars mounted, i may shorten the mounts alittle. i do really like where they are, feels nice.

start of the rear sets, i took them off a sport bike, made some mounts and welded on some seat rail gussets and mounted them there. they are nearly spot on where i would hang my feet anyways. i used to ride with my toes on the pegs before so these will work better.

and my rear tail lamp. it is barely legal. a 1/16th smaller and it wouldnt work as a brake lamp.

work has been taking up alot of my time for the last month so i havent got much done till this week end.

i ended up reworking the seat rails so they are now flat all the way across, finished up the rear sets, got a working brake lever and soon to finish my shifter lever to work with the rear sets. i hope to get it mocked up tonight after work and take some pixs for everyone to see, i found the idea from a german web site. should work nice and if i want i can set it up for gp shifting or regular shift which i thought was cool.
