Maybe I should have capitalized AND bolded the word ONE in the above post?  You can link as many images you want, up to the character limit per post...

Well, Justin, then how do those German's get so many pictures in their posts?  I guess they don't put in so many words.

Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words except as it applies against your character count!  ;)  All of their images are links, not attachments, or Dirk would have ran me outa server space a long time ago! [smiley=uhoh2.gif]

Steve, if you have your pictures stored online (photobucket, etc) you don't have to attach it.  Just use the [*img][*/img] with the link inbetween (without astericks, of course).  Photobuck makes it nice because they supply the whole insert and all you have to do is copy and paste into your message.

Well, here's my lame-o solution...safety wire and zip-ties. It actually feels pretty solid, even when yanked upon. The biggest bummer is the headlight, though. It seems to shine through the hole relatively unencumbered, although it's lighting up the interior of the fairing pretty well. I just think it looks sort've bad.

Anyway, it's embaressing, but here it is. I'd be interested in buying some custom brackets off one you guys who have the machining gear/expertise.

I see what you mean, Jon, although it doesn't look bad at all, and seems like you should be able to "flush" it up somehow, like this pic.

And, maybe get a flexible-type gasket to go around the headlight and seal the gap.
I do like the S-fairing look on the R65s!

Yeah, I think I just need to push the headlight out a bit with some brackets...

Regarding the gasket, any ideas? I couldn't find anything at my local auto parts store...

I imagine somebody'll come up with an idea here soon.
I replaced the headlights on my daughter's Dodge Neon a while back, and the new ones came with black, "poofy" circular gaskets to fill the gaps, of a material almost like door weatherstripping.
That's kinda what I'm envisioning, anyway.....
