Sorry for the late reply.
Yolks are from an R1, you only need to turn 2mm from the bearings to use the R1 steer tube too.

So how does it ride I have seen r1 forks on craigslist and I have access to a mill and metal lathe for shaving the bearings I am about to do fork seals but if I can migrate to inverted forks I would love to!

It seems to go ok, though i've had Carb problems and it's only putting out 28.5bhp@ 5000rpm!

There seems to be some air flow problem but i think it's sorted and it's back on the Dyno this Thursday.

It's booked for it's first trackday in Feb so i'll give you a better answer then
