It's been requested I share a photo or two of the ol' parakeet yellow SS.  I wandered into the garage and managed to find it, hasn't been run in over a year at this point.  Slowly trying to find the money and parts to at least ride it again...  At least it holds a shop manual well.

'04 R1150 RT ~41000 miles
'86 R65 / '84 motor ~72000 miles. SS lines, Spiegler rotor, Progressive monoshock, Keihan silencers, a piece of Pichler fairing.
'76 CB400F ~26000 miles. non-runner!

Nice!    I remember when that bike came out too - loved the 4-1 exhaust.   A guy I knew in high school had one, and he ended up dating the girl of my dreams.  As far as I know it didn't work out, but I coveted that bike nearly as much as the girl.

Matt

I feel your pain.

But, contrary t what i said in my PM to you, I've now had a look and an extraordinary array of parts are still available. In fact I am amazed at what is still around.

I do hope you are able to get the old girl going again.
