Agreed Mike.  I've always thought there was something not quite right but you've put your finger on it.  That and the tank.  My 2001 has the classic Triumph tank, very sleek and classy.  The tanks on the newer Triumphs are more bulbous and kind of porky IMO.  Can't wait until this knee heals up and I can take my Turnip out for a ride again.  Weather here has been terrific lately.
