Put my '91 Honda CRX Si up for sale last Sunday on a CRX forum .
The new owner will be picking up the car tomorrow afternoon .
Had the car 24 years, only time it failed on me was in Sept., 2012, distributor came apart 2 blocks from home . Â
No accidents, incidents, or tickets in 24 years .
I know it's time to sell it, parts are very difficult to get, most are no longer available from the dealer, no aftermarket parts available like some older vehicles .
I'm sure some major problem is just waiting to come to the light of day in the not too distant future, due to it's age and exposure to the relentless heat here in the lower desert area of Aridzona for the last 22 years .
Feel like the song by Neil Young, Long May You Run, is appropriate .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYna-UAt75cAt least I know I'm selling it to a person that will take care of it .
New owner is an aircraft mechanic with the US Air Force at Davis Monthan Air Force base in Tucson, Aridzona, avionics mechanic on A-10 Thunderbolt II, aka ' Warthog ', aircraft .
