And if you do need to purchase new exhaust nuts, MAKE SURE the sales contact knows they are for a R65.  Ours are smaller than the rest.  (Hi Justin!)

Better yet, give them the part number.  18 21 1 335 595

Since I'm mounting this 2-in-2 exhaust on a R65GS 2-in-1 I'm missing some mounting parts, so does any-one have pictures of the left side of the muffler mounting, and maybe even underside of the connection between header-pipes and mufflers?

Those are nice looking (style wise) mufflers, I wish I would have snagged a pair that went quite reasonable on e-Bay a while back...  :(

You are missing the clams that secure the mufflers to the headpipes and two exhaust "hangers".  They slip around the headpipes and are secured by the rear engine mountbolts.  The mounts on the mufflers are totally different but looking at them maybe they are attached to the holes that the passenger pegs normally bolt through?

This pic shows the r/h side where the hanger attaches.  The mounting on the l/h side is identical but all of our bikes have Brown sidestands which relocates the exhaust hanger on that side hence my picture of the right side instead...

With ducati they cost 1018[ch8364] a pair... and there are 3 models 2 for <750cc and 1 for 900cc, I have the 900's

Yeah I forgot that the single muffler also is bolted to the frame just a bit further away, won't be a problem after all, those clamps I will get (probably r65ls originals from bmw) I have to make 2 tubes 35-40mm to make the headers and mufflers fit

Not a bolt-on sollution unfortunately, no rear brake, centre stand against exhaust and muffler against the cardan, rethink some options
