My new Honda......

'70 Bonneville, a 650.  I've owned and ridden it since 1987; back then I couldn't afford car insurance so the bike was it.  Now it's worth about 4 cars like mine so I think I need to spring for comprehensive insurance.  Some day I'll get pictures of it....

The last older Triumph I had was a 1972 650, one of the first 5 speeds. It had TT pipes, european bars, a BSA seat, British Racing Green paint, with pearl stripes. Traded it off for a R90S.......Dew.

I've owned a bunch of hondas over the years - too many funny stories to tell, though I did cross the U.S. on a 450 scrambler ( via trans - canada ),what was I thinking? They were all good, now have a '73 cl125 I got for free, am working on it!

Hey Bill, when I was a kid the Honda 450 was the big boy on the block. You could take it anywhere......Dew.

Yah, Dew - that 450 was quite alot of fun & always put up with my abuse! Actually, I kept it up well, toured thru the big national parks out west & only changed the oil & a chain, wish I had it back! Also had a 305 scrambler but thats another story..

Back in "the day" one of our riding buddies had a gold CB450 hardtail..... he had long box end wrenches in place of the rear shocks.  Everything else was bone stock.  I always wondered how it handled.
