That ol' damp cold is hard on the old bones - you need to move somewhere warm with lots of shootin' ranges!  ;)

Looks good Lou, I have two sisters who live in Kendal so we get to spend time in that beautiful part of the island, for any of our 'foreign' cousins, if you get the chance come and see England at its very best...

I am getting homesick for England. I did an Outward Bound course from Ullswater when a lad. It is one of the finest parts of the old dart.

The problem with the white stuff is it did not just stick to the hills. We had to take Fi's Street down to Preston (75 miles) for its 1st service and off we toddled me on my 1200 and Fi on her Street. Lovely if cold ride down, but it was a nightmare ride home.  Snow started at Kendal, and it was that horrid sloppy wet stuff that makes the road as slippy as an ice rink. It took us as long to do the 15 miles from Ings as it did to do the 60 miles from Preston.

Tony stop moaning you have some great roads fabulous scenery and great pubs up there, I got to try some  Helvellyn Gold in the Travelers Rest Glenridding superb brew. If you get into Penrith try the "Moo" bar (apt name for R65 riders) free gigs on Monday nights..

But I like to moan Lou, especially about the weather. When it comes to music I'm kind of spoilt as I have the Old Dungeon Ghyll just up the road which has regular music thrashes and two folk festivals.

Anyway enough of this, I've got to load the Bimbo and head off to the land of leeks and humourless traffic plod.
