What are you cooking for Dinner???
« on: December 07, 2013, 10:43:26 AM »
I'm a cook so I thought it'd be nice to have a Food related thread here in the off topic section. I just recently made some bacon. It will not be going in my dinner this evening (I will be working) but I'm sure it will find it's way into tomorrow's dinner and many breakfasts for the next week or two.

Belly in the Cure.

Getting it Going!

Yes Please!

Now that is what a slice of bacon is supposed to look like.

Does anyone else have any ambitious food projects going on???

About the only work lengthy food preparation I do, is a sourdough stuffed spinach pizza .

You need to start the sourdough about a day and a half in advance of making your pizza .

If anyone is into Dutch oven cooking I can recommend this... its one of my favourites for camp,
I use Red wine instead of Rum or Sherry and just use chicken thighs. http://www.aviewofamerica.com/Recipes/Poultry/polloborracho.htm
