« on: January 19, 2013, 10:10:48 AM »
I have been going stir crazy with the weather, no riding and no work untill the weather breaks so  this afternoon prompted a walk down to the Navvy were a warm welcome nice pint and log fire awaited....those of you in warmer climates may enjoy this.
The walk about a mile takes you down to the River Calder then up Broadcut Canal.
Cheers Lou

Good to see a proper beer  :)

The canal looks nice too - a good spot you live in Lou. You have the Calder, we have the Don  :-[ ;D

(For those not in Yorkshire, the Calder is a beautiful picturesque river, whereas the Don is an industrial polluted disgrace, although it is getting better slowly).
