Leave it to Rob to find the pictures!   ;D  Were they from your part of the world Motu?  The one I saw was at a BMW MOA National Rally - I'm thinking the one in York, PA in 1989.

Yes - Max was Canadian, but lived in NZ. Max carried Rastus in a saddle bag on trips - they were taken out by a car and Rastus was killed. I met Rastus at a classic racing meet, I saw him on the bike, and then when walking past their pit area gave Rastus a pat and head butt as I walked past.
