Lucky Lou,s Fairwell Tour....
« on: February 24, 2012, 02:32:49 AM »
I am in the early stages off planning a road trip to the Southern States i to have decide how much time i can spend over there and still have a business to come back to, at the moment i am looking at something from Pheonix to Ft Worth via the high country and maybe a run down to Huston, I plan to avoid the places i have already been and make peace with the Natives.
As the plans develop i will keep you posted, Medical Insurance is the biggest stumbling block at the moment. I will update this thread as and when there are any concrete developments and check out the members map to try to put some faces to names should anyone want to meet up (where is that funeral parlor with the free coffee?).
Fact is if i dont do it soon it wont happen, i am hoping my Oncologist is going to clear me this summer which should resolve the insurance issue.......free at last .

We have a guest room and a spare motorcycle or two.

We could also raid Bengt Phorqs Shiner beer stash.

Keep us in the loop...  [smiley=beer.gif]

If you are coming through Ft. Worth you will be going right past the house so you better stop in for a brew or coffee...

If you streach your tour to Ms., feel free to stop over at Moon Lake. Plenty of beer and if on weekend we probably could find some good blues played close to my place.

Jumping into the hospitality sweepstakes!  We're now in the Southwest Suburbs of Houston. Two motorcycles (R65 and Bonneville); two guest rooms; on a golf course...
Standing by to hear your final travel plans!

I guess I won't be seeing you.   Northern California isn't anywhere near Phoenix or Houston.  Sounds like you've got a good trip planned.

You'll be missing a whole bunch of wonderful "Western" culture by not coming to the San Francisco Bay Area.  You know, the whole '49er thing happened here.  There are towns in the Sierra foothills that still have the old buildings from the '49er era (that's 1849, of course   ;) )

Have fun making your plans.
