Oh! Come on Motu, the defence by the Wallabies was something else. Credit where credits due eh?

we cop the childish peurile rubbish that you served up earlier in this thread.
.

I said the All Blacks/Wallabies match was the best in the whole series,I don't see where that's not giving credit where it's due. I was just explaining to Balibeemer that the disrespect for Cooper goes beyond what he has done on the field, and trying not to turn it into a hate Cooper thing. I don't see how you could be upset by me running down a fellow countryman.

Do you guys always speak in tongues? ;D

All I know about rugby is that it takes leather balls to play.

OK, Motu but Cooper was 13 when he came to Australia. What was he known for at that age? The court case to which you allude was dimissed.

No Aussie, ex-pat or otherwise get's a fair go in NZ. I've been to Rugby games and had a great time. Some repartee and joking but when you leave the game it starts, "Go Home." followed by laughter then "Go Home," more laughter as though the same inane comment is funnier the second time.

You can't say "Every Country has it's yobbo's." Because it happens every day. As soon as someone finds out you're an Aussie. The same rubbish. I spend a lot of time in NZ work related ususally & I love the Country & most of the people.

It wasn't always like that, just the last 20 years or so.

And I'll stand by what I said about the Haka; why only Rugby League & Union? Your netballers don't do it. I don't see your tennis players running up & down the back line poking their tounges out and slitting their throat, pointing at the opposition.   ;D ;D ;D

Have a good day; I'm going for a ride.  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

Dunno about any anti Aussie stuff here,I've never seen it....but I tend to hang out with motorcycling types, not rugby types. I've got an Aussie son in law,he seems ok to me. Yes,things have changed in 20 years - we have a whole new breed of young people, and I'm not impressed.

And yes the haka has been totally over done in recent years too - but I think it's still appropriate before a rugby game because it's a challenge on the field of battle....gets the players into the head space of the game.

Cruel  :D Anyway, what about the cricket; well, perhaps not cricket then.

Um, swimming? Oh! We just beat NZ at netball.  [smiley=clap.gif] And Rugby League in the UK  [smiley=clap.gif]

Did we beat indonesia in soccer? I don't know? If we did I was probably watching the Aussie Rules.  8-)
