Hi guys! I finally came out of my winter doldrums. And what a nice day it was too.
Had a nice ride with my sweety and stopped for a wonderful lunch. He on his R100 and me on my R65. Everything is blooming and the new spring greeen leaves on the trees is so beautiful. The willows along the rivers are all putting out their buds. And the air smells so good. We rode out through some Redwoods and took some back roads. It wasn't a long ride, about 50 miles, but it was perfect for a first ride of the season.
Spring has definitley sprung here. Thank goodness. I thought for sure we were going to float off the continent with all that rain. But California is finally out of its drout.............at least for this year.

I am so glad for this winter to be over. It seemed to be a hard one for me. I'm still not working. My Mom is 90 this June and even though she lives by herself she is starting to need more help so I've been over there alot. And she is so stubborn! (I wondered where I got it.

)
I think I left the last trip report in the lurch and didn't finish it. I remember starting something and then not getting back to finish it.

Mom got sick around then and I had to go help her out (she's okay now), and then there was the Christmas Crafts Fair that I had to get ready for (I actually sold some of my stuff

). Then Christmas presents to make and Christmas to get ready for. Then the after Christmas blahs. Then I house sat (well, it was really to dog sit) for a friend while they went on a cruise for 2 weeks. There was some nice weather in January and February, but no rides (it was still too cold for me - I'm a whoos) and then rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, and more rain through March. I just hibernated through most of all that.
But now it's really spring and I'm finally coming out of my winter sleep. Time for more rides (YAY), and more job hunting (sigh).
