As did I.  Is it time for an APB?   :(
YES!

Bill, I thought you had her phone number.  Sue, do you have it?  I know Melena called Sue when she was traveling to the National's back in July.  But that's the last I've heard.   :(

Quite Possible!  I will root around in my 'Brain' for Melena's number....

 :-?

Ah ha!  I do have it!  But she has probably not even had her morning coffee yet so I will wait till after church..  Thanks Aïda!

Standby...

Contact established.

Melena is just back from the Autumn Beemer Bash in Quincy Calif.  She says it was "another adventure". Her partner's ride (an 1980 R100???) died en-route in 100'f weather with a possible seized cylinder.  Her R65 was running flawlessly. So they had to get larger bike hauled off.  Apparently they put both bikes in a U-haul and went to the rally anyway.

She says she will post up when she gets some rest from the weekend.  So all is (phew) well in California.

Good to hear Melena is "still alive and well"!!   ;)

(Hmmmm... I think that was the title of a Johnny Winter album!)   ;D

Oh no I didn't realize I'd made you guys worry.  I'll be better.  Just been a busy "summer" (if you can call it that).

Thanks for the call Bill.  I sure appreciated it.  You got my story spot on.   :D  What a weekend!    [smiley=bmw_smiley.gif]

I'll tell more later.  It's been a busy day and I'm still trying to catch up with myself from a long weekend.
