I just got back an hour and a half ago from the Easter Bunny Barbeque in Hood River, Oregon.  Fun, and fun riding to get there over the pass just south of Mt. Hood.  Yes, I had some BBQ'd Easter Bunny.  I'm not a big rabbit fan, but I partake in the ritual.

I hope nobody was expecting Easter baskets.

Probably in Alaska.  No caribou here in Oregon that I know of.  But I bet they're good eatin'.

I hope I make it back to the Bunny BBQ this coming Easter.

I saw a jackalope once.  Really!  I did.   But I didn't hear it singing.    I guess it wasn't the right weather.  

It was a huge ole jack rabbit looking thing with 2 big ears sticking up and some antler looking things sticking out at the sides.  It was on the other side of a large grassy meadow area from where I was.  

Kinda freaked me out at first.   Then I figured out what I was seeing.  I'm sure the hunters of you out there will know.  May  have even seen one yourself.
