Thanks Steve.  I have been so happy with my Italian-made BMW brand, that of course cost $100 more than the equivalent boot 10 years ago.

So I looked at their offerings - it looks like they are a little more in line these days:

My feet have [size=16]NEVER[/size][/b] gotten wet since I bought these boots in 1999!

Those are sharp boots - I'd get some of those if my boots were a bit older/more in need of replacing.
I have to spend my gear budget on pants first though.

In concept, those BMW boots I linked to are identical to those I bought from Competition Accessories back in 1999.  I'll have to pull the receipt to verify, but I think they were over 300 (nine-year ago) dollars!

And these are being offered for just a little over $200?

Trouble is, my metric and 'merican sizes don't jive on the charts.  My boots are a metric 45, but I wear an 11 1/2 'merican.  The charts say a 45 is equivalent to size 10!  

I have been really happy with the way these boots have fit.  Sometimes they are them most comfortable shoe I have.
