Grrr - we've had a week of 40-50 F degree weather, with a couple days of heavy rain, and still have between 2 - 3 feet of snow on the lawn, and the snowbanks from where I've plowed the road are at least down below 6 feet high... Our lake is still frozen over, though at least I can see some spots of water along the edges. On the plus side, the road out to the (bare) paved road is almost passable now.
It is very very muddy and wet, but there is just 1 patch (about 40 feet long) of ice left. It is on a hill too, so I'm going to have to wait at least another couple days before I attempt to take Tillie out to the tarmac...
At this point, our state (New Hampshire) has had the 2nd snowiest winter since they started recording annual snowfall amounts back in the mid-1800s.
Our capital (where they measure/record the snowfall amount) is a bit south of our house and they have received a bit less than what we have. We are
already up to 120 " (over 3 metres) of snow from late November til April 1st.
