Here in the lower-middle New Hampshire it has dropped a few cents to around $2.96/gallon, though I did find one station selling it for $2.93/gallon last night.
Heading further north in NH the prices go up to around $3.05/gallon. All these prices are for unleaded regular - premium adds about .20 to .30 per gallon.
I was in Vermont last week, and with their higher state taxes on gasoline the prices there were averaging $3.10 to $3.15/gallon for unleaded regular.
My cousin lives in Brooklyn, New York and she is paying about $3.55/gallon for unleaded regular.
I wish that we had the mass transportation infrastructure in this country that the Europeans have on the other side of the pond - THEN we wouldn't complain so much about the fuel prices over here. With the distances involved in commuting to work, etc. my wife and I together easily spend over $100/week in gasoline, and this is with 4 cylinder autos that average between 30 and 38 MPG on the highway, and me telecommuting at least 1-2 days/week. I ride my motorcycle whenever I can during the warm months, but at this time of year, that option is completely unthinkable.
