Think Trolle knows about this new site?
« on: November 17, 2006, 01:45:12 PM »
I know we haven't gotten the vast majority of those who used to frequent the previous R65 sites to get registered here yet, but I hadn't seen anything from Trolle posted here.  Wonder if he knows we moved?  I miss his interesting posts that always close with "Greetings from a (current weather conditions) North".   ;)

Trolle, if you're out there, let us know!!!

Don't know.  Maybe if somebody regularly corresponds with him they could give him a heads-up.  I have tried to refrain from entering a lot of "Open for Business" posts on r65.org (other than the first couple of days) as I didn't want to seem petty...

I don't know but it is obvious that some of the 'usual suspects' are absent from this site!

I would think they would get the idea as about the only business going on over there is from the spammers.  For Sale is now up to 480 plus!  But, I imagine the word will get out and I see Sue just registered not long ago...

I'm gonna go out and try on my new tank before the sun, and temp, goes down...

I've got Trolle's e-mail address.  I'll e-mail him tonight.

Yeah, and today I emailed my friend Will from "jolly old England".  With any luck, we'll see his postings here soon!  (Get outta that pub, Will!)  [smiley=beer.gif]

Hmmmm.... Still no sign of Trolle.... :-?  Is he on one of those "extended holidays" I have heard many Europeans take?

Melena, didn't you say you had his email address?

Sure would like to hear from our Danish Daredevil!  ::)

"Greetings from a clear and cold south....."

(Nah, it just doesn't sound the same! :D )

I did send an e-mail to Trolle, John, telling about all our spam troubles   :'(   on the other forum.  I sent him the link to this site.  I even got an e-mail back from him.

Seems he is very busy - he was running for office in his teachers' association, rebuilding their kitchen, planning a new summer cottage, and on and on and not even enough time to ride much this last year.  That was November 20.   I wonder if he won the election?

Just to give you the feel, John, his greeting was:

greetings from a wet, cold, dark, windy not very nice north

Sigh, you're right.  A quote is just not the same either.
