Wow, Monte is the second most prolific poster on this forum and he's been absent for what...about 2 years! That is amazing. I remember he greeted all newcomers when, in time, it can become just overwhelming as life's chores grind on. So Monte was pretty well able to fix and jerryrig all his own mechanical glitches but he was invariably there for the rest of us. I hardly remember any questions he had; only answers but I may be incorrect there.

I'm also way late in hearing of Monte's passing and like everyone who has posted I will miss his knowledge, friendliness and cutting humour.  My sincere condolences go to his family and friends, he must've been a fun man to have in your life.
RIP Monte.
