Well, it's 22 degrees right now so it definitely feels like New Years!

Not quite so cold here in the UK so planning a short new years day ride to see my grandchildren.

Lovely dry ride there. I was togged up enough to stay perfectly warm at 5 Deg C.  Forecast had been dry with risk of a brief spell of very light rain. In the event it was heavy rain all the way home which is not a bit comfortable in an open face helmet.  Rain found it's way though the seams in places too. The new years riding off to a good start then.

Had a ride with a fellow airhead early N.Y Eve in 28 deg C, stopping for a couple of early eve beers.

72 F, 22 C this afternoon in the low desert .
Got a 3 hour ride in on the Guzzi this morning .
Roads were empty for a change !!!

Gee, Bob, I'm sorta jealous!  It got up to 26F here today and we might get back above freezing mid-day on Wed!  If it wasn't for global warming things might have been really grim.  Makes me think those crazies that were predicting another ice-age in the 70s might have been on to something.

I was working in the garage this afternoon, with a south facing garage and low sun angle this time of year, it was 85 F, 29 C at 4 pm .

Looks like it's gonna top out at 27F today.  But, on the bright side, it's supposed to get above freezing for a little while tomorrow!
